As a big animal lover I always make my rounds to the local zoos and aquariums every summer. I went over to the
Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, California. They have some great exhibits with beautiful creatures of all types. I even got to touch a bat ray who made a special swim over to me and held a lorikeet who rested on my shoulder (without the temptation of food!). All the creatures seem very happy and it was a great experience to learn about all the different species.
